Veroboard is the original prototyping board. Sometimes referred to as ‘stripboard’ or ‘matrix board’ these offer total flexibility for hard wiring discrete components. Difference Between DOT and LINE Type:

This is a DOT Type Veroboard where every hole is individual.

This is a Line Type Veroboard where holes are connected in line.
